  • This is a wonderful opportunity for you to spend two days in a stunning location looking at fundamental bushcraft skills.

This bushcraft course introduces new topics and expands on the content of our Introduction to Bushcraft, although no previous experience is necessary to enjoy the course.
You will learn knife and saw handling skills and many more in-depth fire lighting techniques such as traditional flint + steel and bow drill.  Shelter building sessions will incorporate the use of natural materials and tarps and you can choose to sleep in a shelter of your own construction if you wish.   You’ll discover the delights of cooking on an open fire and foraging for seasonal goodies.  There will be an opportunity to look at basic wood carving and if time allows, you may also explore natural cordage or another aspect of bushcraft.

The course includes lots of interactive sessions with our friendly and knowledgeable team and allows plenty of time for you to relax, practise and hone skills and proficiency in each of the topic areas, and soak up the beautiful surroundings.
