Outdoor First Aid Training
Enhance your proficiency in the outdoors with Outdoor First Aid Training.
Our Outdoor First Aid Courses will set you up with the knowledge and confidence to manage incidents ranging from a cut finger to a multiple casualty emergency in a remote location. We’ll deliver this first aid training in a fun and friendly atmosphere whilst providing as much realism as possible.
Participants on our outdoor first aid courses come from many backgrounds and occupations including Forest School leaders, teachers, outdoor instructors, youth leaders, parents, students, office workers, people working in remote and foreign locations, tradespeople etc.
The course covers those +F topics required by forestry workers –
- Severe bleeding (i.e. chainsaw injury)
- Crush injury
- Hypothermia
- Lymes Disease
- Working remotely

The 2-day (16 hour) Level 3 Outdoor First Aid qualification is a comprehensive outdoor first aid course designed to meet the needs of those who work and play in the outdoors in potentially remote locations and meets NGB standards. The course encompasses a mixture of theoretical and practical sessions along with scenarios taking place outdoors and is run in a friendly and relaxed environment. It is accredited by Qualifications Network UK, which is an Ofqual and Qualifications Wales recognised awarding body. For a small additional fee (£10 + VAT) we can also issue an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate as well as the Outdoor First Aid certificate.
