    We run these courses as private training events either at our training venue in Llandrindod Wells (LD16DF) or at your own suitable venue.

    The 3 day (18 hour min) FAIB Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification is a comprehensive  first aid course designed for higher risk workplaces or those with higher numbers of staff.  The course encompasses a mixture of theoretical and practical sessions along with scenarios, which where possible will be based upon your specific workplace, and is run in a friendly and relaxed environment.
    This qualification will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in delivering first aid in the workplace and will support a role in the workplace. A great course for those wishing to expand their first aid knowledge and feel more confident when responding to a first aid incident.

    We deliver our training in a fun and friendly atmosphere whilst providing as much realism as possible.

    We offer private group bookings as well as bespoke first aid training e.g for DofE. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

    This qualification meets the requirements for First Aid at Work as outlined in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.

  • The Wilderness Project is regulated by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB). All FAIB certificates are recognised by HSE and Department for Education/OFSTED Inspectors. The FAIB quality managment system holds third party Certification via UKAS and operates under the standards required for ISO 9001 (2015).

    The FAIB are one of the founding members of the First Aid Quality Partnership (FAQP), a body that includes representation from HSE, the Resuscitation Council (UK), the Voluntary Aid Societies and from OFQUAL, SQA as well as Fire, Police and Ambulance. The Wilderness Project meets the Quality Assurance standards published by the FAQP.
