Learn Outdoors Ltd provides outdoor training, guidance and consultancy.

What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you contact us or place an order for our products or services. We also collect information when you voluntarily provide customer feedback.
Purchasing a course through our website
Your name, address and email address is collected if you purchase a course from our website. We may ask you for your bank details (sort code and account number) should you request a refund for a booking cancellation. You have the right to refuse to provide this information.
Training Courses:
When you book onto one of our courses we will ask you for certain pieces of personal information, such as your name, telephone number (incl mobile), postal address, a contact in case of emergencies, plus date of birth and age in certain circumstances. Where you are an organisation booking courses on behalf of individuals we will still ask that the individuals provide certain pieces of personal information in order for us to properly deliver our services. Medical and consent forms are requested for individuals under the age of 18 where not accompanied by a parent/guardian (e.g. in the case of Duke of Edinburgh participants) and are also available to adult participants. Information collected through this form asks for:

Learn Outdoors has the right to refuse to allow individuals onto a course without this information as it may compromise the safety of the individual and others.
How will we use the information about you?
We collect information about you to assist in effectively dealing with your enquiries, process your order/s and safely deliver our services and to contact you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you.
Learn Outdoors will not share your personal information with other companies without your consent.
Medical and Consent forms
Your personal information provided on the medical and consent form is for the purpose of keeping you safe on our course/s and is held in strict confidence. Learn Outdoors will share this information only with relevant qualified outdoors instructors working on behalf of Learn Outdoors and for whom this inform is necessary in order to fulfil their duties. Your information may be also shared with relevant third parties such as our medical advisor and/or the emergency services in the event of a medical incident.
Marketing
We would like to send you information about our products and services. You may opt out at a later date.
You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes.
